I was a bit late to the party with Talking Heads, only discovering them with "Once In A Lifetime". I rushed out and got the album and was absolutely blown away by it. It was very, very different to the 'weird noise' stuff I was listening to at the time. Until it came to the final track. My understanding was that that Talking Heads wrote this based on descriptions of Joy Division from reviews, never having heard them. I would have loved to hear Curtis sing this. Still my favourite Talking Heads tracks. Utterly bleak and stunning.
