One of my favourite songs from one of my favourite bands from the last waltz which is probably the best music documentary ever made. Seventeen years after joining forces as the backing band for rockabilly cult hero Ronnie Hawkins, Canadian roots rockers The Band call it quits with a lavish farewell show at San Francisco's Winterland Ballroom on Nov. 25, 1976. Filmed by Martin Scorsese, this documentary features standout performances by rock legends such as Bob Dylan, Van Morrison, Eric Clapton, Joni Mitchell and Muddy Waters, as well as interviews tracing the group's history and discussing road life

Been away for a few to watch my son accomplish a pretty serious endeavor and took Bill Kreutzmann's Deal along for reading material, where he mentions jamming with the Band on a "few" occasions--that had to be something to see and hear. This one also seems like a decent #EndofJam offering.   2
