It is the second track in "The Beatles" album commonly known as "The White Album" So, is this one of the best songs with a woman´s name in it or what? GOD!!! "The sun is up, the sky is blue, it's beautiful, and so are you" it is just a simple gorgeous song and perhaps influenced by its meditation "context"?
The subject of the song is Prudence Farrow (Mia Farrow´s sister), who was present when the Beatles went to India to study with Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. Farrow was so serious about her meditation that she hardly ever came out. John Lennon was asked to "contact her and make sure she came out more often to socialize". So, how does Lennon take on this task? HE WRITES THIS!!!!!!
