I've been listening to a lot of cover versions recently. I came across the devastatingly talented Spike Jones' 1964 comedy cover of the Singing Nun's song 'Dominique' (yes, I wasn't expecting that either when I got up that morning). Delightfully, it's only one small step from there to the Bonzos, now reformed (though sadly, Mr Stanshall is no longer available to us mortals). This cover of the Kaiser Chiefs 'I Predict A Riot' is cerainly worth several minutes of your time I think! "I was set upon by a casually dressed man in sporting attire...."
Love the original but love this cover, too.
