This song is where my Emily gets her middle name from, so great is our love of Lou Reed and the Velvet Underground. Listening to Transformer on cassette with my dad in the car is a strong childhood memory for me, apt that we heard about Lou's passing as he drove me home tonight. “There’s only X amount of time. You can do whatever you want with that time. It’s your time.” - Lou Reed He did so much more than most with his time, and for that he'll always be remembered, RIP.
RIP Lou Reed. It's hard to accept that even rock stars don't live forever. You will be missed.
