#ABCsOfMe O: My personal discovery of Yaz, I'm an American so they aren't Yazoo to me, came by way of searching out Vince Clarke's music after becoming a fan of Erasure and Depeche Mode in my high school years. "Upstairs At Eric's" is one of my all time favorite albums, and it has songs like "Situation" and "Only You" which I immediately recognized from my childhood. Their follow-up album "You and Me Both" isn't as immediate, but contains this gem which brings together the strengths of Alison Moyet's voice and songwriting with Clarke's arrangement that sounds a bit experimental. I keep holding out hope for a third album...
