just a marvelous song on a marvelously dark and deeply lyrical album, highly underrated due to its supposed high concept melodrama and pomposity, wonderful in all regards in my opinion.
@KParkBro I had the same reaction to the song. Started singing along, and then..."Huh!". (See also: Marie Provost by Nick Lowe. Did the same thing there.)
