Nice one fella. Loved John Peel and miss him dearly. Was stood next to him at a Fall gig once, but didn't have the bottle to say hello and thank him for all the great music. This terrific song will always be remind me of the great man.
@garyprice265 Spoke to Peel at a Mekons gig at Stratford College in 1978.Though we were just kids,he was great.Told him about the band we had seen earlier that night at The Green Dragon,The Coventry Automatics.True to his word,he said,on the strength of other good reports too,he said he'd check them out.Wasn't too long before they were recording a session as The Specials.
