Ha ha. You're not safe to be let out, are you? I hope the seemingly endless catalogue of disasters has not left you too mentally scarred or traumatised. At least some good has come out of it all ......you're keeping your TIMJ posse amused. Every cloud and all that. :-) xx
@heatherrings Ha! You are of course correct, madam. I am always amused by my past exploits and that helps to keep me sane. As long as you guys are likewise amused, I'll continue trawling my memories. Scarey stuff, mind you... ;-) x
- loving this btw - haven't heard it in years. It's not the sort of thing in my record collection but it has loads of memories of when life was a lot less complicated and getting older was just something that happened to other people! (sigh)!!!
@21schizoid I remember when the EWF greatest hits LP came out at at parties back in the '70s. Thee lights would go down and suddenly girls that were way out of my league didn't mind dancing(or "dancing") with the little long-haired geek that was me. I'm fairly certain there was a goodly amount of baby-makin' to the soundtrack of that record. Ah, memories!
@shirl I kinda knew you'd get there in the end, Shirl !! Fingers and keys don't always work in unison... ;-) Thanks for the kind words. I shall follow your music choices with interest...
@fumbles546.Thank you Loulou. Great to hear you 'gettin' on down in da groove' (as we street savvy disco veterans say). Glad you're enjoying my tales of woe...lucky i'm a fast runner... ;-)
Good old disco dancefloor filler, but a better tale of woe!
Life's rich tapestry can be interwoven with all sorts of adventures, if we're lucky. Though your last example sounds unluckily traumatic, I mean, when they start to interfere with your enjoyment of golf, well that's serious! :)
@21schizoid Enjoyed your little tale! ooh better rephrase that lol .
Just read your intro as I had missed it first time because I was so excited about your new jam.
@heatherrings Ha! Going thru' my irregular "can't be arsed with Fudgebook, Twatter, Jammy" thang. Soon as the enthusiasm returns, i'll drop on by with some sordid or otherwise, recital. Nice Gabriel Jam btw. Heard it on the tranny the other day...
@21schizoid Did all that disco dancing wear you out? I often think we all need to spend more time away from these pooters. Get out and about and do something more interesting... and then come back and tell us all about it. :-) Big hug x
@heatherrings Haha. Yup, all discoed out! I sometimes feel almost subservient to these social sites. I actually limited the number of people I was following on Jam, to spend less time trawling thru endless songs and find common ground with folks like yourself, who actually WROTE something as well. Constantly just liking stuff, for my money anyway, devalues TIMJ as an experience. I'm generally cool with the people I'm following, but I need to feel a little inspiration, to post. Hug returned!! x
I felt the need to come & seek you out - now just read above - we do miss you here ! Know what you mean though - and this takes up a lot of time .... Infact my ol man get the right hump sometimes cos I'm on the computer too much!!! But my daughter goes back to Cardiff on Mon - and my son moves to Notts to start uni on Friday! I'm gonna need to fill that gap up somehow. Anyways - hope you return at some point - always looked forward to your postings - hugs & stuff xx
@lindatee Hey Lindylocks! Thank you for your lovely wee message. You are of course, correct. All that free time to fill up...what's a music lovin' gal to do?!? Sometimes I step back and wonder why I'm doing what I'm doing. Probably overthinking for the most part! However, someone following me, has 400 or so followers & is following 6,000 plus Jammers. What the feck is that all about??? Anyhoo, I do hear stuff that I'd like to Jam & no doubt, I'll weaken! I'm keepin' my wee team tho!! Hugback! xx
Yeah I know - there's people on here that I chat a lot to -and they are really cool and interesting - but I couldn't keep track on more than about 12 (like the disciples - maybe Jesus got it right) - collecting 400 people is a bit too much like trying to prove popularity - wtf - you'd never get to play stuff by everyone. Oh well - I shall patiently await your come back and more of your bad boy tales and entertaining stories. Talk to you soon xx
TIMJ is all about choices--if people want to follow you,if you want to follow people, you can.my thing is i try to stop people giving up when they first start,i nearly did 3 times. did not know how to do anything.had my jams smashed a few times by experts-really upset me.i keep it small, have lots of new people i keep my eye on. Hate those who gives likes without playing, who like you if you like them-i dont play their games. comments are good, especially to the new ones.nothing worse than having
0 plays with 0 comments. taken 1 year to get my 450 followers, and they do follow, for that i am proud. you choose what you wanna do. i do timj on eves,my relax. it suits me fine. choose your window and stick to it. you are of course missed, thats another aspect i like,we take care of each other.takes time to get that, and you already have it. be thankful for that, its not given to everybody. take care:)
@lynn200 Hey Lynn. I'm one of life's little thinkers. Sometimes, too much. I just took a step back and wondered exactly what way I could get the most out of TIMJ. Reckoned I was in danger of becoming too slavish to its' (potential) demands, even though I'm an infrequent poster. It's nice when people acknowledge your Jam, though it's equally important I think, not to get drawn into automaton status with those who post, endlessly. That just gets too tedious for me. Anyway, I take on board what
you say and also say thank you for being so kind in taking the time to get in touch. Perhaps I can get back on the old horse and exorcise my Jam demons!! Thanks Lynn. You're a sweetheart...xx
