Big Ben Folds fan, he has the midas touch. Emotion filled songs his music can lift me up, have me dancing and singing in the kitchen (You don't know me) or depress the hell out of me (think "Brick") ..superb choice
@christineb Yep Chrissy, 100% with ya' there. I find music pretty emotional these days. I know it's just me gettin' old and turnin' into my Dad, but Ben can push all of my happy/misery buttons. That said, that one gig was such a joyous experience, I've never forgotten it. Thanks for droppin' by, girly... :-D

I recall reading him quoted in an article long ago, where he was composing a toon and on listening back, was enraged to think he sounded "just like fuckin' Billy Joel". Thought that was brilliant. His aim was to be his own man and I think much of his output proves he succeeded. Cheers for droppin' by ma' friend... :-D

Excellent. I'd only heard 'Landed' b4 this. As a footnote, I popped into King Tut's for a 'wee snifter' on my way to somewhere many years ago just so I could say I'd been to that legendary venue.
