The year got going with “Extinction” by Screaming Females, and there was more to come; 17 jams in all. There was a lot of techno, rap, and hip hop. 2013 drew to a close with “My Song 5” by HAIM.

In June, AWidebrant joined This Is My Jam, and kicked things off with “Come and Get Me” by Jay-Z. Nice. AWidebrant found their eternal jam in June — “Consume” by Plastikman. The year’s recurring themes? hip hop, east coast rap, and electronic. AWidebrant reached 20 jams in November. AWidebrant’s 2012 came to a close with “Star 69 (Rogue Element Remix)” by Fatboy Slim.
