AcademyofDrX’s first jam of 2014 was “Only Shallow” by My Bloody Valentine, and there was more to come; 35 jams in all. Plenty of Savages, indie rock, and new wave. They were the first, and only, to post “Real Life” by Magazine. “I Wanna Be Your Dog” by The Stooges got a lot of love. AcademyofDrX crossed 100 jams in July! 2014 drew to a close with “No Xmas for John Quays” by The Fall.

AcademyofDrX’s first jam of 2013 was “Bela Lugosi's Dead” by Bauhaus. In December, AcademyofDrX found it, their eternal jam: “Husbands” by Savages. There was a lot of Savages, 80s, and no wave. They were the first, and only, to post “She Will / Husbands” by Savages. “Read About Seymour” by Swell Maps got a lot of love. AcademyofDrX crossed 75 jams in December! “She Will” by Savages closed out the year.

In January, AcademyofDrX joined This Is My Jam, and kicked things off with “Dans Les Profondeurs” by Satin Wall. Nice. The year’s recurring themes? Savages, punk, and no wave. People really liked “Under The Milky Way” by The Church. In January, AcademyofDrX introduced This Is My Jam to “This Perfect Day” by The Saints. In September, AcademyofDrX posted their 20th jam. “Husbands” by Savages closed out the year.
