AlbertaBalsam’s year started strong with “Love Is Overtaking Me” by Arthur Russell, and there was more to come; 6 jams in all. People really liked “Thieves Like Us” by New Order. 2013 drew to a close with “Slave To Love” by Bryan Ferry.

In September, AlbertaBalsam joined This Is My Jam, and kicked things off with “(I'll Love You) Till the End of the World” by Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds. Nice. There was a lot of singer-songwriters, indie pop, and new wave. “Love You More” by Buzzcocks got a lot of love.
