@adrian4acn From 'Closing Time' to 'Heartattack And Vine' Tom Waits, in his role as a slightly tipsy Frank Sinatra, muses upon the Beatnik street. From 'Swordfishtrombones' he resurrects Brecht, rolls in the Crows Nest, yamps through the West and poetically addresses the down and out strangeness of people and their lives.
But you missed out the other ones @Bukowski! Franks Wild Years, 'never could stand that dowg' .....but yes, those are about right. I might go on Tom bender....
@adrian4acn I bought 'Franks Wild Years' on your recommendation, once again, thank you. That Top 5 is obviously provisional as I have missed 'Closing Time' and 'Bone Machine'.
Theres barely a bad one. I like the OST for One From The Heart with Crystal Gale, Heartattack has 'Jersey Girl' which is the beginning of everything Swordfishy, Black Rider & Bone Machine are hardcore. 'Mule Variations' is very special though, some great tracks on that...but then 'Real Gone' has 'Hoist That Rag' & 'Make It Rain'. I'll mail you a little something ;)
