@Bukowski it was HOLLYWOODLAND until 1949...on another #cheese sidenote...LA is no longer the capitol of movies financially speaking...La (Louisiana) is...they lowered tax rates for movie productions a few years back and even gave an extra 5 percent tax cut on top of that if they hired locals...Canada comes in second while Nevada seems to be making a push to get some of the pie...imagine, Los Angeles, California in third for movies...who woulda ever thunk it?
