All I know is she's lovely and she wrote a great album. I have the vinyl in a cupboard and the memories that surface when the temperature hits 26C and I have an open road for my way home. The mid 1980s summer was good. I had big shoulder pads and was making fistfuls of dosh. I was in my prime, damnit - where did it all go?... then again, I am glad for the taste I had of the sunny high life. Every dawg has its day, man.
