First track from a gorgeous album ('Famous Blue Raincoat') of Jennifer Warnes' interpretations of the songs of Leonard Cohen. I have played this album at least once a month over the last twenty-five years.

One of those songs I'd have hated had I heard it first on another day. Warnes' voice remains peerless, Leonard Cohen delivers another great lyric, even if I can't decide on the Stevie Ray Vaughan guitar and 80s production values.
