@Avante I was a month before you in Aug 2012. I saw it on the BBC "click on line" news program. It was my first venture into social media outside of commenting on Youtube. I'm so glad I did. I remember you were a little girl in a field at the time. Been time well spent huh?
@kemiladashdot I would probably say so, although God knows I've spent lots of time here when I really should have done other things. But I've had lots of fun, which shouldn't be disregarded.. Yes, the girl in the field might be right with..And you where the sheik-guy! haha :D
@kemiladashdot Yeah.. That Guy!! Yes I remember now.. Looked at it more closely eventually and saw it was Columbo. But by then you were already the sheik guy in my mind. I love Columbo.. Might be the best detective ever...
I love reading Sherlock Holmes, and if I can't sleep I often listen to old Sherlock Holmes radio plays on Youtube.
I quite like the "policeman" from "An Inspector Calls" by J. B. Priestley give all those concerned (whether they did it or not) a good freak out.
I think of strictly TV detectives if not Columbo then Hart to Hart maybe, though I'm afraid probably only miss Marples will be interested as I was poisoned by a muffin at the village flower show .
@kemiladashdot good choices (although) I had to look up an inspector calls. Do you you attend many flower shows? If so I'd definitely be on my guard.. Judging from my telly that's definitely where most murders occur in Britain. Are you heading somewhere after timj? Noticed you've been kind of absent lately.. But that's life.. Would still like to give you a shout if there's a new africaweek. That's definitely my fondest memory of you. You did some fantastic jams!
@Axol Come to think of it that's kind of true.. I love British crime series, but the victim is almost always a jackass who had it coming. Interesting point.

According to Dangerman spying was all about getting a message back to HQ without being detected. Obviously the mobile phone has made that a lot easier.

As you I'm a real detective buff and have also spent hours and hours at night listening to radio plays (but I've opted for the Agatha Christies - John Moffatt). I'll give Sherlock a go to.. Didn't know they existed. :)
