Fauve means Savage. They named themselves after the 1992 movie Les Nuit Fauves about a guy with AIDS who was struggling to live a life not defined by what was bringing him down.
I'm enjoying your Paris thread... hoping one day I will find a way to live the parallel existence I am sure I have in Paris, time travel thrown in would be good too.... now have to explain Mayday and Revolution to my 7 year old daughter!
