Slippin' And Slidin' by John Lennon

“Another sad Jam for Beatlemaniacs everywhere. On the 8th December 1980, John and Yoko were returning from the studio working on the album that was released posthumously as "Milk and Honey", when John was shot dead! This is from John's last scheduled performance, at a tribute concert to Lew Grade in April '75. The Little Richard song, was released on his "Rock 'N' Roll" album. Yoko's statement the day after John's death said, "There is no funeral for John.... John loved and prayed for the human race. Please pray the same for him. Love, Yoko and Sean." As we wrote about George, John's music and his charities including, www.imaginepeace.com continue. John's words, “Love is like a precious plant. You can't just accept it and leave it in the cupboard or just think it's going to get on by itself. You've got to keep on watering it. You've got to really look after it and nurture it.””
