never believed it, even tho most of it sounds like nonsense words put together,I believe he knew what he was saying all along.They probably laughed at us trying to figure out - "now what did he mean by that???hahaha.I don't care anyway i love the song.
I love Dig A Pony, it's a fantastic song. I fall on the side of thinking the lyrics are mostly nonsense, as a lot of Lennon's lyrics were. It has an edge to it though - "Everything has got to be just like you want it to" - so who knows. :)
