Eleanor Rigby by P.P. Arnold

“Pat (P.P.) was a very early backing singer/dancer with Ike and Tina Turner in the early 60's. After touring around the UK with them, she stayed there!! She's perhaps best known for her version of "The First Cut Is The Deepest" and her storming, back-up singing on The Small Faces "Tin Soldier" classic. This is taken from her "Kafunta" album from1970. Pat's still busy with session work. She's recorded & toured with Roger Waters and recorded an album with The Blow Monkeys Dr Robert a few years back. The Fabs original, was released as a double a-side with "Yellow Submarine" and was included on the "Revolver" album in '66.”
