There were a few major turning points in my life that I specifically remember, moments that formed me musically and as a person; My Grandma playing me With The Beatles, hooking me in so completely that she eventually had to give me the album to shut me up. The first time I heard Marvin's How Sweet it is and my discovery of Motown, a sound which sits deep in my soul now and will forever. And the first time I heard the Pistols. I'd already heard the rumblings of what was happening in London

but was too young to go there and so had to wait for punk to come to me in the North. From the first note of 'Anarchy' I was lost to the cause and will remain a punk in my heart until the day I die. This I think was the ultimate Pistol's moment, a track that still sends shivers down my spine every time I hear it.

Amazing how little value was put on them musically at the time, in my opinion they have been a very influential band . Still influencing musicians to this day great jam . 👏

Im gonna try it again as I dont feel that Tumblr is working out, it just seems to be getting more difficult the deeper I get into it so I will give LL another try but it might just be the right time to call it a day as I dont think anything will quite replace this site. post videos along with an introduction, leave and receive comments, email notifications and a re-playable jam history.

... thats all it is here and basically all I am looking for elsewhere, everything else is just in the way as far as I am concerned, so Im not at all sure that i will find anything that is going to grab & inspire me the way this place has, sad but thats the truth of it.

@Sid_Bonkers Honestly Dude, I felt exactly the same after the announcement but am just so unwilling to let go of this community and the amazing music it's brought into my life. Of course LL will never be the same, this is so clean and simple and absolutely gives us what we want but at the very least, it would still give all of us the chance to hear more of the fantastic selections you've given us. Let me know if you've any questions about LL when you try it again. it's pretty straightforward

@Sid_Bonkers once you get through the silly amount of fluff on the pages :)

Great story. I remember vividly the first time I heard King Crimson's Discipline. I had to pull the car over.

And of course thanks to all my friends here on TIMJ for blowing the top off my head musically every day.
