Always been a toss up between 'Low' and 'Heroes' for me. But then 'Station to Station' and, and... I really don't know where I'm going with this. I agree with Bertie.
Low is one of my go-to albums. Even after all this time there are new things to hear in it. Station to Station and Diamond Dogs aren't too far behind, but for sheer scope it will always be Low.
Has to be Aladdin Sane for me, if only for the number of times I went in the record shop as a kid and stared at the cover longing to take it home, preferably with the record inside. Low is up there too, took me a while but it grew on me and eventually wouldn't let go.
Never been an all-time Bowie-ist, but I have to admit, the man's music has grown on me, as the years roll by. The Chinese restaurant sound in the first minute always makes me titter...I know, I should be ashamed...

@pez Oh I LOVE Aladdin Sane SO much. It's definitely my favourite. Except when it's one of the others :)

@BertrandRustles I have the same problem with Beatles albums.

He has so many excellent albums. It's definitely vying for my top Bowie record. This is a superb cut from it.

THE Bowie album for me. New music night & day. RCA didn't deserve Bowie back then.

I'm simply not going to bother trying in future :)

@21schizoid Disgraceful.

@emsquare_d You're so right. They genuinely didn't understood what they had on their hands during his Berlin period.
