I was unfamiliar with the PG era before I saw 'A History of Genesis" at some point in the 90s. This immediately became one of the songs I was looking for when I started buying those cds.
An album that sits very high in my all time album chart. And Phil is an excellent drummer - eg anyone listening to Dance on a Volcano (2 albums later) would be in no doubt.

I fell, unashamedly, in love the whole record. Lyrically strong. Funny and really moving in parts.

This is my favourite track from the PG era. Great!

I agree with your thoughts about Phil Collins. He's one of my favorite drummers- his work in Brand X is superb. Absolutely fantastic album as well. :)

I can only echo your sentiments about this album. Genesis after Gabriel were a pale shadow.
