Bird_Gherl’s first jam of 2013 was “Velleità” by I Cani, and the jams kept coming; 13 in total. Lots of Yo La Tengo, garage rock, and noise rock. 2013 drew to a close with “Merry-Go-Round” by Kim Novak.

In June, Bird_Gherl joined This Is My Jam, and kicked things off with “Run Overdrive” by CIVIL CIVIC. Nice. The year’s recurring themes? lo-fi, instrumental, and indie rock. In July, Bird_Gherl introduced This Is My Jam to “Sometimes (Live)” by James. Bird_Gherl reached 20 jams in November. “Moon on the Land” by Dirty Three closed out the year.
