









Blackcab’s first jam of 2015 was “In The New Year” by The Walkmen, and there was more to come; 39 jams in all. Lots of singer-songwriters, alt-coutnry, and indie rock. They were the first, and only, to post “Rootless Tree” by Damien Rice & Lisa Hannigan. People really liked “There She Goes, My Beautiful World” by Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds. Blackcab crossed 200 jams in July! All things must end; Blackcab closed it out with “Nothin But Time (Feat. Iggy Pop)” by Cat Power.

Blackcab’s 2014 started strong with “Wail” by The Jon Spencer Blues Expolsion, and the jams kept coming; 48 in total. There was a lot of Joseph Arthur, classic rock, and acoustic. Blackcab found a rare one: “Dress Sexy at My Funeral” by Smog (Bill Callahan). “Sure Shot” by Beastie Boys got a lot of love. “I Summon You” by Spoon closed out the year.

The year got going with “Soul One” by Blind Melon. In September, Blackcab found it, their eternal jam: “Bridge Over Troubled Water (Central Park)” by Simon & Garfunkel. There was a lot of Joseph Arthur, indie rock, and alt-coutnry. Blackcab did some crate-digging too, and found “Batcat (live)” by Mogwai. Blackcab reached 100 jams in September. Blackcab’s 2013 came to a close with “In The New Year” by The Walkmen.

Blackcab’s year started strong with “Nothing But Heart” by Low, and the jams kept coming; 53 in total. There was a lot of Joseph Arthur, alt-coutnry, and electronic. Blackcab was the first person on This Is My Jam to post “No Pussy Blues” by Grinderman — before 58 others! Blackcab posted their 50th jam in November! 2012 drew to a close with “A Man Needs a Woman or a Man to Be a Man” by Bill Callahan.

In December, Blackcab joined This Is My Jam, and kicked things off with “Gangsta” by tUnE-yArDs. Nice. Blackcab was the first person on This Is My Jam to post “Wave Of Mutilation” by Pixies — before 69 others! Blackcab’s 2011 came to a close with “Sweet Thing” by Van Morrison.
