I love Anne Briggs - her version of Willie O'Winsbury is amazing too. Bert Jansch on guitar here, if I'm not mistaken.
When I couldn't find the Tony Rose version of this, I was tempted to switch to choose Willie O'Winsbury instead. I'm always amused by the fact that the daughter in that song is called Janet
