BrianMcGurk’s first jam of 2014 was “Money is King” by Van Dyke Parks. 22 more jams followed it! It was a year of drone, electronic, and ambient. BrianMcGurk posted a rare gem: “Locks and Bolts” by Shirley Collins. “Stoned and Starving” by Parquet Courts got a lot of love. BrianMcGurk posted their 75th jam in June! BrianMcGurk’s 2014 came to a close with “Back in the 90's (Bojack's Theme)” by Grouplove.

BrianMcGurk’s first jam of 2013 was “An animated description of Mr. Maps” by The Books, and 22 more jams followed. Lots of funk, electronic, and dub. They were the first, and only, to post “Change the Mood mix” by DJ RUPTURE. “New York Is Killing Me” by Gil Scott-Heron got a lot of love. BrianMcGurk reached 50 jams in April. 2013 drew to a close with “A Christmas Fucking Miracle” by Run the Jewels.

In January, BrianMcGurk joined This Is My Jam, and kicked things off with “I Believe In You” by Talk Talk. Nice. It was a year of dub, electronic, and singer-songwriters. They were the first, and only, to post “Musinzil” by Kazai Kilimambogo. People really liked “History Lesson - Part II” by The Minutemen. In January, BrianMcGurk introduced This Is My Jam to “This Bitter Earth” by Dinah Washington. BrianMcGurk crossed 20 jams in May! BrianMcGurk’s 2012 came to a close with “Do You Know The Way To San Jose (LP Version)” by Dionne Warwick.
