BrightLights’s year started strong with “For You” by Nude Beach, and 34 more jams followed. Plenty of The Smiths, british, and post-punk. BrightLights found a rare one: “Digital Lobotomy” by Native America. “How Soon Is Now?” by The Smiths got a lot of love. BrightLights’s final jam was “Gold Soundz” by Pavement.

2014

BrightLights’s first jam of 2014 was “Terminally Chill” by Neon Indian. 51 more jams followed it! The year’s recurring themes? Interpol, singer-songwriters, and alt rock. BrightLights found a rare one: “Ways To Phrase A Rejection” by Drowners. People really liked “Where Is My Mind?” by Pixies. BrightLights was first to pick “Everything Is Wrong” by Interpol, in September — 14 others followed suit! In February, BrightLights posted their 100th jam. BrightLights’s 2014 came to a close with “New Year's Eve” by The Walkmen.

2013

BrightLights’s first jam of 2013 was “Luna” by Smashing Pumpkins. 55 more jams followed it! Plenty of electronic, indie pop, and indie rock. BrightLights did some crate-digging too, and found “Change Your Mind” by The Feelies. “Evil” by Interpol got a lot of love. BrightLights posted their 75th jam in August! “2013” by Arctic Monkeys closed out the year.

2012

In May, BrightLights joined This Is My Jam, and kicked things off with “NARC” by Interpol. Nice. BrightLights found their eternal jam in September — “Gold Soundz” by Pavement. It was a year of Interpol, electronic, and singer-songwriters. BrightLights crossed 20 jams in August! “An Easy Life” by Broken Bells closed out the year.
