









BrotherJames’s first jam of 2015 was “Oscillating Fan 8hrs” by Sleep Sounds, and the jams kept coming; 73 in total. There was a lot of psychedelic, post-punk, and shoegaze. They were the first, and only, to post “Before the Moon Falls/Stepping Out (live)” by The Fall. “Uptown Top Ranking” by Althea & Donna got a lot of love. In July, BrotherJames posted their 500th jam. And it all came to an end with BrotherJames’s final jam: “Chasing the Light” by Lust for Youth.

BrotherJames’s first jam of 2014 was “African Popcorn” by The Tropicals, and there was more to come; 161 jams in all. It was a year of Spaceships over Deeside, psychedelic, and drone. BrotherJames did some crate-digging too, and found “Wild Flower” by Les Mogol. People really liked “Perfume-V” by Pavement. BrotherJames was first to pick “aisatsana [102]” by Aphex Twin, in September — 16 others followed suit! In October, BrotherJames posted their 400th jam. 2014 drew to a close with “Frantic Aerobics” by Mitch Murder.

The year got going with “I Love You, I'm Going To Blow Up Your School.” by Mogwai, and 139 more jams followed. It was a year of Guided by Voices, drone, and ambient. They were the first, and only, to post “Last Delicious Cigarette” by Matmos. “On Parade” by Electrelane got a lot of love. BrotherJames crossed 250 jams in October! “La ragazza dalla pelle di luna” by Piero Umiliani closed out the year.

In May, BrotherJames joined This Is My Jam, and kicked things off with “Warm Slime” by Thee Oh Sees. Nice. In May, BrotherJames found it, their eternal jam: “Tone Bender” by Lilys. It was a year of The Fall, shoegaze, and electronic. They were the first, and only, to post “Sleepy John” by You Say. “The Hall of Mirrors” by Kraftwerk got a lot of love. BrotherJames was first to pick “Allah Wakbarr” by Ofo The Black Company, in August — 16 others followed suit! BrotherJames reached 100 jams in October. “The Stars Are So Far (How Does It Feel?)” by Spectrum closed out the year.
