crazy to think I was 1 year old. Yet they went on to be a a big thing on MTV over decade later (ruining them according to some), and when I was re-introduced to the early B-52s, I fell in love with them when I was 29. Quite the full circle appeal.
@clickysounds Admittedly the heavy rotation that Love Shack (likely their worst song by a mile) got was annoying as hell, but it didn't ruin them for me. I still feel sad for those folks who know them by that song only.
@thisismymistake@clickysounds Yeah I think most people still only really know them for Love Shack and the Flintstones theme tune cover they did for that shitty film. Shame. Great band, very unique.

They were so punk rock! I saw them in 1989, after they were a little more tame, but still to this day, probably the best concert I ever saw.
