“It's Neil Young's 68th birthday this week so I thought I'd post this. Taken from 'A Treasure' which was released acouple of years ago but actually recorded around 1984-85, the International Harvesters comprise top-notch musicians such as Spooner Oldham, Rufus Thibodeaux (legendary fiddle-player), Anthony Crawford and long-time Neil Young sidekick Ben Keith. It's a testament to the depth and breadth of Young's musical output that something like this could just lanquish in the vaults for years before being released. I've actually spent the morning listening through various bits of his catalogue to find a jam. Get away from all the obvious albums (After The Gold Rush, Harvest etc..) there's a whole world of wonderful music to be explored. I think he's still making vital music now. Some of my favourite Young records are from the last 10 years and there's plenty I've yet to hear, such is the volume. He's a rare breed, a mighty artist indeed.”

This jam is special! The first and only time it’s been posted was by Brownpants in Nov 2013.
