Like most people I suspect, I first heard this through Bryan Ferry's great cover. But this is just soooo cool.

Interesting about the change of title (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Let%27s_Stick_Together_(song)). I'd often wondered about this.

@polly7923 @simonp Actually although I of course know the Ferry version I've become more familiar with Canned heat's take on it than any other. Hadn't heard this until recently and I think I prefer it to all of them. And yes, interesting stuff about the title! :-)

@Brownpants - yep, the Canned Heat version is the one I'm most familiar with as well, but this original is outstanding. Thanks for digging this up.

...and the TIMJ learning curve, curves on. No idea the Canned chaps had plagiarised. Love both versions. Great Jam Mr Pants... :-)

Unlike me to be diplomatic - but, really love all 3 versions mentioned above. All very different takes on the classic boogie song. Love the guitar-led Heat, sax-driven Ferry and just generally love Wilbert's version.....so there!!!!!

@21schizoid Why thank you very much! And yes, both versions are great. :-)

@mikelowe Hahaha, I'm with you on that. They all have their own charms. Just a great little song. :-)

I'm another one in the surprised it wasn't a canned heat tune camp. Great find!
