Not playing this end either, I actually thought the Comic Strip 'Bad News' episodes were as good as Spinal Tap, and I think it came out before the said film (might be wrong about that though).

Went to see bad News at the edinburgh Playhouse i think with @jmmcleod - great fun gig with surprisingly good musicianship as I recall.
