@Brownpants@debutch I caught Terry R live only about 7 years ago, when we were on hols in S Devon!!! Playing with his band in a pub in the middle of nowhere - he was still in good voice. When I saw the posters, I thought "well it can't be THE TR"....but 'twas our man!!! :-)
@mikelowe I saw him live about the same year too! ( In "Dingwalls" , a pretty small club in London ) He was great but it's so sad to think that he once turned down the offer of singing for Led Zeppelin...
@debutch@mikelowe And Deep Purple as well apparently. Never seen him play unfortunately. I wasn't even entirely sure he was still alive until I looked him up, hahaha.

Terry Reid...could've been a contender. So unlucky in his career.

Terry should have been a superstar!!!! :-)

@mikelowe @debutch Indeed. That voice is like Steve Marriott and then some!

I've had the blues, but never from that side of the train tracks! Great tune!

I think @boozybluesy would probably like to hear this. It was about the time David Lindley was playing with him as well. :-)
