A much underrated album.
@AndyWilkinson I was going to put exactly that comment as my introduction. It is a much underrated album, often forgotten in The Clash canon.
@Catherine Thank you, it is the quote that I always remember from Joe, because it is so true and apt.
American and Australian troops did surf Non Nuoc and other Vietnamese beaches during the war. According to the Encyclopedia of Surfing, some soldiers offered daylight cease-fires to North Vietnamese soldiers in exchange for surfing privileges......
