I don't know this or the album, perfet example of 80s revival. It could easily feature on my 1983 Chart Trek cassette, love it!

@abigail.deeks 'Sound Of Silver' and 'This Is Happening' are really superb albums. You are quite right in that it is an 80s Retro. feel with an added quirky POP feel and deep harmonies.

@Bukowski I will endeavour to seek them out and report back with my findings :)

@abigail.deeks I expect nothing less of you. Make sure you take some Kendal mint cake with you on your endeavour.

@Bukowski @abigail.deeks yep, totally great 80s vibe. Possibly my fave track from both albums is One Touch on This is Happening.

@AlicejustMay One Touch feels like early Chemical Brothers with a huge slice of Talking Heads influence, lots of fun :)

@Bukowski I am glad your expectations are high but there was no need for Kendal mint cake, just copious amounts of tea :) Certainly found evidence of quirky pop full of energy and excitement! I have a preference for Sound of Silver, love the piano on All my friends and that it concludes with New York, I love you but you are bringing me down after such high energy building before it. I already had Drunk girls and All I want. All I want is my favourite from This is Happening, very Bowie.

Oh, man. This is just purely a gem - coming from the 21st century, fused with 80s waves.
