Funky, messy, energetic ball of jam, this. I can't make out a lick of lyric, but I think that's part of why I love it. It feels like a rowdy bus speeding with no particular destination, skipping all the stops on the way. And is that a recorder I hear mixed in the chorus? I'm new to this band, having merely picked up this album out of the used rack on a whim, but I am super glad to have found them.
Finally figured out the name of this song...
The Go! Team - The Wrath of Marcie. Since I thought I had already used one of this band's songs a year ago, I spent most of my rainy, crappy drive home tonight trying to decide which song to use for the Jam this time around. But this is the first time I'm posting a Go! Team song... so... yeah. While "Huddle Formation" is my favorite song by them, I'm sticking with my selection since I already took the time making this decision. ;-p
