“Yves” by The Everly Brothers kicked off CanaanLane’s 2014. 38 more jams followed it! There was a lot of reggae, Brazilian music, and jazz. They were the first, and only, to post “Reggae 69” by Laurel Aitken. People really liked “The Revolution Will Not Be Televised” by Gil Scott-Heron. CanaanLane’s 2014 came to a close with “Gee Whiz, Its Christmas” by Carla Thomas.

2013

CanaanLane’s first jam of 2013 was “Sonnenrad” by Michael Rother, and 48 more jams followed. The year’s recurring themes? soul, jazz, and pop. CanaanLane posted a rare gem: “Stephanie Says” by Velvet Underground. “Sinner Man” by Nina Simone got a lot of love. CanaanLane passed 100 jams in June. CanaanLane’s 2013 came to a close with “Dusty Blue” by Charles Bradley.

In February, CanaanLane joined This Is My Jam, and kicked things off with “Sweetness In Her Spark” by Lightships. Nice. CanaanLane found their eternal jam in April — “Let It Loose” by The Rolling Stones. Lots of 60s, classic rock, and oldies. CanaanLane found a rare one: “Flight Into Space” by John Barry. People really liked “You Don't Know” by Ellie Greenwich. In May, CanaanLane introduced This Is My Jam to “Love Grows (Where My Rosemary Goes)” by Edison Lighthouse. CanaanLane crossed 75 jams in December! “Dusty” by John Martyn closed out the year.
