I don't know how I haven't heard of DJ Mustard before now, with all those big guests on his album (I looked it up after hearing this). I haven't listened to Fabolous in years. I love this track and the message haha. Listening to the album from the beginning now and already loving it. Stars out with a track featuring Nipsey Hussel, a west coast rapper I've liked for years, and the beat on the second track is even more west coast. By the way, I have a serious soft spot for west coast gangsta rap.
@shiningsun2k Yeah dj mustard has alot of great songs with artists, I gotta listen to this whole album only listened to a few, and they are good. As for fabolous i never really listened to him but i do remember his song "Shawty Is The Sh*t" and couple more, i should check him out. Nippey Hussel sounds familar. West Coast Rap is always dope.
Haha it was bothering you, not knowing for sure, wasn't it? I'm the same way and I'm glad you looked it up 'cause I just watched the video and I'm not sure I've heard it before, but I like it. I remember when Fabolous first hit the scene way back. I wasn't real impressed 'cause his flow wasn't all that, but he had Nate Dogg on this track, which saved it: http://youtu.be/T8WqP9ysO8k. And then he released this track I really liked and had to buy his next album for: http://youtu.be/GVucWRs-eWA
That second one's old, but super smooth and a great summer jam. I haven't listened to much of anything of his since then. I should try to catch up a little.
Oh and I did listen to the whole DJ Mustard album. It fell off a little in the middle (ha, I'm a poet and didn't know it), but I like it a lot and think it's a pretty strong album.
@shiningsun2k lol yeah it was bothering me. i never heard those fabolous songs before but i like them though. idk if he released anything new and yeah i agree on the dj mustard album.
