@dutchbeeblebrox WOW! What a list. I can tie (maybe beat) 3:
#24. 7 Nation Army, Try:
Joan of Arc ("Seven Nation Army", White Stripes)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wQydMhY9OpI
and:
#26 Creep:
Ancient Minoan Civilization ("Creep", Radiohead)
#135. Blister in the Sun:
Renaissance Man ("Blister in the Sun" by the Violent Femmes)

And is not #289 Stairway to heaven a little bit far down?
NOT 1 NENA SONG? My heart breaks. Where Blondie?
Noted. There's just so much one can put into list of a thousand. Especially when one is dealing with 50 years of listening to (popular) music. I have litteraly hundreds and hundreds and hundreds bubbling under in various waiting rooms. As to Blondie, she will probably appear in the higher regions. This list was put together in October 2012. It took all of my free time during that month. I strive to compile a 2013 list, again in October. I'll keep you posted... :) (provided you're interested)
@itskerryc Well, this October I'm not starting from scratch, that's a help (I hope!). Anyway, it has to be easier timewise as I'm off on an autumn break for the first 10 day of that month, going to (hopefully) sunny and warm Turkey.

An incredible piece of music. Beat, repetition, rhythm, tine, breaks, what does it not have???? Awesome Jam. Even the lyrics speak. Thanks.

Crikey @dutchbeeblebrox 1001 in October. That's not even your winter. Impressed. @Grayling I'm with you on this. The Who and Baba O'Riley ; choice.
