I was out of town when Poliça rolled through last month and I still have the occasional pout about it. I'll try not to let my envy cast too much shade in your direction ಠ_ಠ PS -- great link... "gamine ghost"

@duvetghost It's great, isn't it? I love it when bands have two drummers :)

it is nice to see a band that is experimenting with sounds and pushing boundaries, there are too many artists that stick to a strict format thus limiting their output

@Weekrocker Aw, that's a great interview. I love the bit about the cold being conducive to making art. Reminds me a lot of living in Edmonton, Canada.

@Han we started talking about our kids too but I left that bit out. She was a sweetheart and very apprehensive about the talk at first but definitely opened up after a few minutes.

I thought it was going to be a cover of this (pretty peerless) track: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gEQNAZGoZrw and I'm glad it isn't.

Absolutely LOVING these guys atm. So unique and as @duvetghost said about, good to see a band pushing boundaries.

Saw them live last week at CAMP and thought they were fantastic- dual drumming dynamite and Channy certainly commanded the audience's attention. I took some snaps of the gig (and wrote an amateurish review, but you can ignore that part): http://tinyurl.com/cpwj5a7
