These guys, no matter what happened afterwards, have reached the absolute pinnacle of music experience with The Dark Side and Wish You Were Here. A matter of taste, yes, obviously, but they still work after all these years—I wonder how many contemporary bands and their albums will still sound this great and timeless after 40 years.
