Well, to put it nerdily: it can't be a Theramin because there is no glide between notes: it's all quantized. It DOES sound like a stylaphone, but you would have to be an impossibly dactyle stylaphonist to play it so musically. So it can only really be a synth tuned to sound like some kind of flute played with a lot of vibrato. The only thing I'm really sure of is that I've listend 4 times to it and still love it.
