The year got going with “Hell (feat. Santigold)” by A$AP Rocky, and the jams kept coming; 38 in total. There was a lot of iamamiwhoami, indie pop, and synthpop. People really liked “Genesis” by Grimes. In September, IdleTalk introduced This Is My Jam to “dontcha” by The Internet. IdleTalk posted their 75th jam in August! 2013 drew to a close with “The Fever (Aye Aye)” by Death Grips.

In March, IdleTalk joined This Is My Jam, and kicked things off with “Rill Rill” by Sleigh Bells. Nice. Lots of Lana Del Rey, noise-pop, and hip hop. “Van Vogue” by Azealia Banks got a lot of love. IdleTalk was the first person on This Is My Jam to post “Paris” by Lana Del Rey — before 10 others! IdleTalk passed 20 jams in June. IdleTalk’s 2012 came to a close with “End of the Line” by Sleigh Bells.
