@BertrandRustles Surely the best band EVER! I saw Prince at the O2 and it felt like I'd missed the main event, his late 80s manifestation was peerless!
@JimmyMonstaFunk Mate, I was SO lucky to see him live as often as I did (20+ times). Every single show was beyond expectations. Certainly the best live bands I've ever seen in all incarnations. He demands the best and gets it from everyone that plays with him. I love that fella.
Might be setting myself up for a fall with this confession, but I once burst into tears at mere sight of a Prince picture during his Lovesexy period, such was my love and awe for him. My one true moment of pop fan mania!
@theeequaliser no harm in that, his musical genius puts him in a bracket on his own. One of my friends burst into tears at the end of watching Purple Rain, his only crime was that he did so in a room full of his mates!
