The year got going with “The Future Freaks Me Out” by Motion City Soundtrack, and there was more to come; 31 jams in all. There was a lot of classic rock, rnb, and singer-songwriters. Joe_Hunter posted a rare gem: “Mars Investigations” by Adam WarRock. “I Summon You” by Spoon got a lot of love. “Walkin' Out Yo Girlfriend” by UNK vs. Aril Lavigne ft. Toni Basil closed out the year.

In March, Joe_Hunter joined This Is My Jam, and kicked things off with “Since U Been Gone / Maps” by Ted Leo. Nice. Lots of Jenny Owen Youngs, indie pop, and pop. They were the first, and only, to post “Under Pressure (David Bowie and Annie Lennox)” by Queen. “You! Me! Dancing!” by Los Campesinos! got a lot of love. Joe_Hunter was first to pick “What A Wonderful World” by Joey Ramone, in April — 27 others followed suit! Joe_Hunter posted their 100th jam in August! Joe_Hunter’s 2012 came to a close with “Country House” by Blur.
