2014

JonEjacobs’s first jam of 2014 was “Valerie” by Steve Winwood, and 48 more jams followed. It was a year of electronic, pop, and indie pop. JonEjacobs did some crate-digging too, and found “Love Like This (Live)” by Faith Evans. People really liked “(Night Time Is) the Right Time” by Ray Charles. 2014 drew to a close with “Dog Days Are Over” by Florence + the Machine.

2013

JonEjacobs’s first jam of 2013 was “Anything Could Happen” by Ellie Goulding, and 59 more jams followed. Plenty of Bruce Springsteen, folk, and soul. JonEjacobs found a rare one: “Harlem/Cold Baloney (live)” by Bill Withers. “You Got It” by Roy Orbison got a lot of love. In March, JonEjacobs introduced This Is My Jam to “Hey Love” by Quadron. JonEjacobs posted their 100th jam in August! 2013 drew to a close with “Long Black Road” by ELO.

In February, JonEjacobs joined This Is My Jam, and kicked things off with “Mack the Knife” by Bobby Darin. Nice. JonEjacobs found their eternal jam in May — “Inner City Blues (Make Me Wanna Holler)” by Marvin Gaye. Plenty of Bruce Springsteen, folk, and pop. “Higher Ground” by Stevie Wonder got a lot of love. JonEjacobs was the first person on This Is My Jam to post “Baby What You Want Me To Do” by Elvis Presley — before 14 others! JonEjacobs passed 50 jams in November. JonEjacobs’s 2012 came to a close with “Beauty of the End” by Paloma Faith.
