LightFree’s 2012 started strong with “I'll See You When We're Both Not So Emotional” by American Football. 10 more jams followed it! There was a lot of soul, indie rock, and funk. LightFree was first to pick “Dixon's Girl” by Dessa, in January — 26 others followed suit! “Dig for Fire” by Pixies closed out the year.

In October, LightFree joined This Is My Jam, and kicked things off with “I Know What I Know” by Paul Simon. Nice. In November, LightFree introduced This Is My Jam to “Just Can't Get Enough” by Depeche Mode. LightFree’s 2011 came to a close with “Buy Nothing Day” by The Go! Team.
